Event Information
Cut-off time
The only distance for this event is a full marathon. Cut-off time is currently 1830hrs on the day of the event (subject to variation at LMEL's discretion)
Aid stations
There are water stations every mile from 3 miles onwards on the Virgin Money London Marathon course. These stations serve Buxton Water in 250ml bottles. There are also Lucozade drink stations located at 7.5, 15.5, 24.5, 31.5 and 38 kilometres along the course.
Weather
Temperatures are likely to be around 10 degrees Celsius, however this can vary.
The Course
The course commences at Blackheath Commons and Greenwich Park with the route following the River Thames as closely as possible. You will pass numerous iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, and end this amazing race at the Westminster Bridge.
