The TCS Sydney Marathon Course:
The TCS Sydney Marathon starts across the harbour on Miller St, North Sydney crosses the Sydney Harbour Bridge, runs through the iconic Darling Harbour looping through The Rocks out into suburbs. Passing Hyde Park, you’ll take on a long straight up Flinders Street before a single loop of Centennial Park. From here it’s back down to Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair before you finish in front of the Sydney Opera House. Whilst it’s not a completely flat route the marathon is still considered fast and very runner and spectator friendly. The time limit is 7 hours. All the races start and cross over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and finish in front of the Sydney Opera House, except the Fun Run which ends at the Royal Botanic Gardens.
