The BMW Berlin Marathon is a city-wide road race where professional athletes and amateurs can compete together. As one of the World Marathon Majors it attracts over 40,000 participants and 1 million spectators, and along with the crowds there are also scenic views of the city and many of its historical sites. It is a relatively flat and fast marathon and is the home to the current World Record Time. A great place to active your personal best marathon time in a spectacular destination.   Places are limited and are on a first in-first served basis.

Pauline travelled with us to Berlin for the marathon, here is her comments:
'I was so grateful to join the Kiwi contingent with Marathon World Travel.  The hotel was excellent and close to the start line.  There were plenty of dining options right on our doorstop as well as good coffee.  Bonus.  As usual we were incredibly well looked after by the MWT team throughout the time.  Nothing was too much trouble.  Thanks so much to Judy and Megan.  You are always the best.  Thanks for making the Berlin marathon experience even more special.  Pauline W.'

Hi Judy, we had a great time in Berlin.

The hotel was great, the breakfasts were excellent. The actual run was brilliant and we couldn’t fault the organisation.

It was an excellent experience and we have medals to prove we finished! I would highly recommend the Berlin Marathon and then the city is so interesting to explore afterwards. We really appreciated having Megan with us in Berlin to take us to the Expo, and the start line.

Was a great comfort to have her there for help and support. We really enjoyed the post marathon drinks with Megan and the other Kiwis.
