Full Marathon and Half Marathon, 10km, 5.7km and 3km options
Melbourne is often seen as the cultural capital of Australia with live shows, music, bars, restaurants and cafes, and is a fabulous destination for a holiday its own right. Why not run a Marathon and have a holiday at the same time. The Medibank Melbourne marathon itself is generally flat with some roads closed to traffic and a really great way of exploring the city.

Event Information
Qualifying and Cutoff times
There is no qualifying time needed to enter. The cutoff time is seven hours. An alternate route is available for participants who cannot run under 5.10.
Aid Stations
These will be located at the start and approximately 3km, 9km, 11km. 13km, 16km, 22km, 25km, 28km 30km, 32km 35km 37km 39km, 41km and at the finish. They will be providing water as well as Powerade.
Pace Setters
The 2013 Melbourne Marathon will have pace group leaders.
The Course
The course is run entirely on the road. There are some hills in the course. See the video below for a full walkthrough of the course.
