  The Rio de Janeiro Marathon is a truly stunning and flat marathon course. Ipanema, Copacabana, Flamingo are just 3 of the 8 golden sand beaches included in this marathon. You will also see some of the world’s most spectacular land makes such as Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain, whilst being cheered on by tens of thousands of spectators. Qualifying and Cut-Off Time
There are no qualifying times for this marathon although there is a 6 hour cut-off time

Aid Stations
Aid Stations are situated every 3-4 kilometres along the course.

Weather
The temperature in July is around 18- 23 degrees

The Course

The course is flat and smooth and has fantastic views of the city. You will be taking is fantastic views of the beautiful beaches, the city skyline and Christ the Redeemer statue. See the course map below for more information.
